Independent service
Ask Canada is not the Government of Canada. Program names and information belong to their departments. Official decisions are made only by the responsible department.
Use it fairly
Don’t use the service to harm others, commit fraud, or overload it with automated requests. We may limit requests to keep it available for everyone.
Emergencies
Ask Canada is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911. In a suicide or mental health crisis, call or text 9-8-8, any time.
